Society App

In the Society App, you will see the following tabs: 

Society Overview: This will show you information about your society and others. You can see the wealth, mood, trading balance, employment rate, education rate, and the most traded goods. 

Ballots: This tab will show you the current Presidential candidates, who is nominated for President, and when the election will occur. When the election is open, you will be able to cast your vote here! Top Tip: Many players post about their election promises on Discord, so check it out to see if any can win your votes! 

Finance: This shows the current government funds and the recent transactions in and out of the government wallet. Every time a player opens a new business, the business fee will be added to the government wallet, which is then controlled by the Treasurer, who the President appoints. 

Laws: Here, you can see any current laws, such as income and VAT taxes. These are set by the government and voted on by legislators appointed by the President. 

Roles: This shows you the current President, Treasurer, Legislators, and any government departments and who manages those departments. This is also where you can register as a candidate for president! 

What can the president do? 

The President appoints the Legislators (players who can vote on and submit laws) and the Treasurer, who is in charge of the Government Wallet and can create Custom Departments and provide them with their own budget. For example, if you become president and want a health department, you can do that! You provide it with a budget and set who manages the department, and then it’s good to go! A department works much like a business does, it has it’s own wallet, the department leader can create more custom roles in that department. 

The government has options to raise TAX and VAT, which means it can add extra funds to the Government Wallet from goods sales and salary payments. Legislators vote on these laws.
